X-ray , she can see through you 

She will always be the one you had but couldn’t get!

 yet you can’t lie next to them

She warms all your nights with her presence, 

Just one smile , 

and your dream sequence is disrupted 

desire erupts from your chest like lava 

spreading heat all over your body ,

You break a sweat barely catching a breath 

Head and tail both up in awe !

Smiling stupid at your awkward position 

Fearing to loose what you already have

Her , 

your treasured obsession !

Your soul is her possession 

but her body’s not up for donation

Butterfly , love is always on the move 

moving on despite you 

Tsetse fly , the body aches when it bites you , 

Taenia , rotating in your insides like a gastric bomb

Fond of the darkest chemistry jokes , 

Fate will pair you with latex for friction 

plastic emotions no notions of ions or electrons 

The only flow it knows is the currency! 

An ohm amply resisting your potency 

Flow or no flow you’re endlessly in latency 

Until you realize the jokes’ on you 

Thinking :

“It’s meant to be , you'll never get over her 

but you'll replace her with someone 

you are not afraid of losing....”

Choosing to live and let the rant die

uncertainly hoping for rain to pour 

and baptize your field 

But until then you sit down 

sipping on your sour lemonade 

and watch the sun , like your love , 

dissipate in the shade
